Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and is a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 9 level will commence in 2022. Hillcrest Christian College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for the role of Early Learning Centre Director, commencing in 2022. The ELC is a modern facility providing high quality early learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years. Highly motivated applicants with solid early childhood development knowledge, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and administrative competence are encouraged to apply.The bachelor-qualified Director will teach one class of 3-year-old ELC students in addition to their leadership responsibilities. Previous ELC leadership experience will be well regarded.The substantive role is that of an ongoing teacher and the leadership position is offered for a three-year tenure, with the possibility of renewal.The teaching role is performed on Thursday and Friday, with an additional half day of planning with the teacher of the other 3-year-old class and co-educators. The balance of the time is dedicated to the Director role.
