CREST Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,500 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to Year 12, offering the VCE and VCE-VM. Rivercrest Christian College, also operates from Early Learning to Year 12, and is an authorised International Baccalaureate World School offering Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

The Director of Student Futures is responsible for overseeing providing strategic leadership of Futures and Careers education across CREST Education. They will lead a coherent, sustainable Futures program that supports student pathways, wellbeing and post-school transitions and embed Futures as an integral component of learning, pastoral care and student development
The successful applicant will undertake a key leadership role while maintaining a small teaching allocation.
The successful candidate will have:
· The desire to serve in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised
· Registration via the Victorian Institute of Teaching
· A minimum of five years of full-time teaching experience working in schools
· Sound knowledge of the Victoria Curriculum, Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM), and International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks, with the ability to apply this understanding in student pathway counselling.
· Strategic leadership and systems thinking
· Strong understanding of career development and student pathways
· Ability to lead change and build staff capability
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Commitment to equity, student agency and holistic development
· Prior leadership in an educational context would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic leadership and program development of CREST Futures
· Program coordination and service delivery of CREST Futures
· Overseeing student guidance and pathways support
· Parent engagement and communication
· Fostering staff capability and collaboration
· Partnerships and industry engagement
· Oversight of systems, data and evaluation of Futures outcomes
· Operational and compliance oversight for Futures pathways, including VET
