Student Futures Advisor

CREST Education comprises of two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.

CREST Education invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Student Future Advisor commencing at the start of Term 1 - 2025.

What we're looking for:

  • Counselling or careers advising experience, preferably in a youth or educational setting
  • High level communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High levels of initiative and innovation
  • Passionate about helping young people to realise their God-given potential
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize work
  • A commitment to ongoing learning to stay on top of the changing world of learning and work

Preferred but not essential:

  • Previous experience in a school careers department
  • Experience with work experience program facilitation and delivery
  • Certificate IV or Graduate Certificate in Career Education and Development
