Leadership opportunityEnglish specialistFull time - starting Term 1, 2023 CREST Education includes two Colleges, Hillcrest Christian College (3-year-old ELC to Year 12) established in 1981, delivering the Victorian Curriculum including VCE and VCAL, and Rivercrest Christian College (currently 3-year-old ELC to Year 9, growing a year level each year), now in its ninth year of growth, delivering the International Baccalaureate program. In 2024 CREST Education will open its Senior Learning Centre, a contemporary learning and wellbeing centre for Years 11 and 12 students from both Colleges. The SLC will see the Colleges bring together an across CREST learning community, particularly in the Secondary years. CREST Education invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for the role of Pedagogical Leader - Language and Literacy. The Pedagogical Leader - Language and Literature is the first position CREST is recruiting with the new Senior Learning Centre (SLC) in mind. By negotiation, the successful candidate may be able to commence during 2022.  Initially the Pedagogical Leader - Language and Literature will be based at Hillcrest Christian College then move to the SLC in 2024. The substantive role offered is that of an ongoing teacher, with a position of added responsibility for a tenure of three years and time allowance of 0.5 FTE.
