Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and is a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 9 classes commenced in 2022. Hillcrest is seeking a Chief Exam Supervisor to lead the team of supervisors of students completing Years 10 to 12 internal school exams and external VCE exams. The role is integral to ensuring the fair and proper conduct of examinations in an environment that enables students to perform at their best.The Chief Exam Supervisor will be responsible for supervising examinations under VCAA conditions and in accordance with VCAA requirements. This role includes the responsibility for receiving, storing and distributing exam materials in accordance with VCAA protocol and for supervising Assistant Exam Supervisors. The successful applicant must also have, or be prepared to complete, VCAA Chief Exam Supervisor training.In accordance with VCAA requirements, the Chief Exam Supervisor cannot be:Related to, or associated with, any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2022;Teaching or tutoring any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2022;Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT, any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2022, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials on behalf of a school in 2022:Employed by the school in any other capacity, including as a teacher, casual relief teacher (CRT) or member of the administration staff; orA teacher of Units 1-2 and/or 3-4 at Hillcrest in the last two years. The successful candidate is: Able to meet the requirements outlined aboveAvailable for supervisor training (date to be advised)Available for the GAT on Wednesday 7th September 2022 and for the exam period of Wednesday 26th October until Wednesday 16th November The Chief Exam Supervisor must also be available to prepare materials upon receipt and for courier collection during these times.Preferably experienced in a similar role. CREST Education is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
