Part time role for an energetic and competent Stable ManagerEnjoy working in an industry that interests youCommencing in January 2020 Crest Education comprises two Independent, Coeducational schools with over 1800 students, an Equestrian Centre and Environmental Centre at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College, which opened in 2014, has Early Learning to Year 6 students. The Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre caters for students from Year 5 upwards at Hillcrest and Rivercrest. We invite applications from a suitably experienced Stable Manager to work as part of the Equestrian team, reporting to the Equestrian Centre Manager. The successful candidate will have the ability to undertake all aspects of managing the herd of College-owned horses. There is an option to also work as part of the educational team, training students who are participating in a range of programs – elective school subjects, after-school and holiday lessons, as well as extra-curricular competitions and events. Your strengths include the ability to multitask, communicate effectively and create strong professional relationships with the academic, administrative and property services staff. You will be flexible and prepared to work outside standard business hours when necessary. For further details please refer to the position description. Previous experience in a similar role in an educational environment will be valued. Upon commencement the hours of work will be approximately 21 hours per week, over three days, plus additional hours during the school holiday program. One or more of an Equestrian Australia Intro Coach qualification, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification and eligibility to apply for Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration or Permission to Teach would be advantageous. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the Christian ethos of Crest Education.Crest Education is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
