Crest Education comprises two Independent, Coeducational schools with over 1800 students, an Equestrian Centre and Environmental Centre at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College, which opened in 2014, has Early Learning to Year 6 students. The Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre caters for students from Year 5 upwards at Hillcrest and Rivercrest. We invite applications from a suitably experienced Stable Manager to work as part of the Equestrian team and reporting to the Equestrian Centre Manager. The successful candidate will have the ability to undertake all aspects of managing herd of College-owned horses. There is an option to also work as part of the educational team, training students who are participating in a range of programs – elective school subjects, after-school and holiday lessons, as well as extra-curricular competitions and events. For further details please refer to the position description.Upon commencement the hours of work will be approximately 20 hours per week, over three days, plus additional hours during the school holiday program.Previous experience in a similar role in an educational environment will be valued. One or more of an Equestrian Australia Intro Coach qualification, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification and eligibility to apply for Victorian Institute of Teaching Permission to Teach would be advantageous. Your strengths include the ability to multitask, communicate effectively and create strong professional relationships with the academic, administrative and property services staff.
